High Performance Coaching Seminar 2009
The 2009 ARL High Performance Coaching Seminars will be conducted as follows:

Listed below is an outline of the proposed seminar topics (subject to availability of selected presenters). Presenters will come from a mix of elite coaches and sports specialists. The final agenda will be set, and updated on this webpage, at the beginning of December, 2008.
Proposed Seminar Topics:
- Keynote speaker: ‘Things I’ve learnt as a professional coach’.
- Recovery strategies for team sports.
- Finals Time: ‘Planning and preparing for a finals series’.
- Decision Making: ‘Teaching players to play what they see’.
- Assistant Coaches: ‘How to be one/How to use one’.
- Game Related Conditioning for Rugby League.
- Managing Difficult Players and Player Issues.
- Developing the Player/Referee Relationship.
- Biomechanical Analyses of Rugby League Skills: Competition v Training
- Fine Tuning the Talented Athlete.
To be eligible to attend the seminar, applicants must be either accredited as an ARL Senior Club coach or must be involved in coaching related activities at an NRL club. There will be a seminar fee of $150.00. We reserve the right to withdraw your position in the seminar and give you a full refund if you are deemed uneligible.
